Psychotherapy for Adults in the Bay Area
Psychotherapy
Following a Brainspotting Intensive, many clients opt to engage in psychotherapy processing & support on a weekly or as-needed basis
Psychotherapy or “talk therapy” gives you a consistent space to slow down, notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin making sense of old patterns that no longer serve you. Over time, sessions in between Intensives create momentum: small insights become the building blocks to lasting change. You’ll begin to see yourself and your patterns more clearly, gaining insight into the ways old experiences have shaped you. As self-awareness grows, so does your capacity: the ability to pause instead of react, to express what you need without guilt, and to feel grounded even in the middle of stress.
What once felt like survival mode slowly shifts into a steadier, calmer rhythm that carries into your relationships, your work, and your day-to-day life. People around you may notice you smiling more, laughing more, seeming lighter. Inside, you’ll notice the difference too: less rumination, more presence; less fear, more trust in yourself. Psychotherapy enriches the lasting change of an Intensive and helps you move forward in life with more confidence, clarity, ease and joy.
